Just ate and it's super late!

It seems to me that yummy cream cheese
with chocolate inside
is very delightful and starts to tease
me when I get so hungry
so very late at night
it makes my stomach cry
I now have to sneak a bite
of a treat late at night

Swimming in the Rapids

There is water everywhere
you get hit by rocks and are tossed and turned
and the cold you have to bear
you get spun around while the water churns
but you know you will be okay
the life-jacket saves the day

Summertime

Summer is fine
there is no bummer
this is the only time
it will be sunny and bright this
year
It's full of joy and happiness
swimming and sunburns
bug bites and sweat....
echh
well at least it is mostly fun!

My Teardrops

My teardrops are sliding
down my face
these days;
I can't do this and can't do that
what can I do
my dreams are crashed
my happiness crushed
I need some hugs
right about now

Life

Life isn't going to be what you want
you will have depressing days
or happy days
or you may just have a day that you don't understand
maybe because you think nobody likes you
everyone just wants to make your life miserable
but you have to realize
it's for the best
Life is not fair
and it won't always be fair
Somebody likes you
They just want what is best for you
Remember
They do care
And I know it
you should know it too

Friends

Friends are friends
you can not fire them
so you're just stuck with those friends
until you flip 'em
but you will still be friends
till the end

The Mysterious Things

Mysterious things come out at night
they might just come to give you a fright
just get up on your feet and put up a fight
and you will win with all your might
then the mysterious things will be in fright
when you are in their sight

Like pretty songs of bluebirds
I follow in the springtime
There is no reason why
I imagine you beside me
Please don't leave my side
Let the bright sun by

Into different ways
So to tell that I love you

Shh... Be Still

Look out of your window
soon you will see
grass that you'll mow
turn into a sea

You have to be still
and quiet to see
on your own will
or there'll be no sea

Stick with your dreams

Spring!

I look out the window
it's spring and raining

A Tall Tale

My favorite Tall Tale is..... I don't know what it's called but I have memorized it by heart. It's my favorite tall tale. It's so good I think you will like it yourself and make yourself memorize it. So here it is;

• Two blind men got up to fight
• Back to back they faced eachother
• Took out swords and shot eachother
• Two deaf policemen heard the noise

The Beginning Of My Poetry

I am Jessica Schuck, I love writing and poetry as I do lots of other things. I have been interested in poetry and writing since I guess 5th grade; I am not really sure but all I know is that I am really good at it! Anyway mostly the only time I write poems is if I am just in the right mood to make them; it's like pouring my feelings onto a piece of paper. It's so simple to me.
