My 2nd poem I wrote - Made for my grandparents

Like pretty songs of bluebirds
I follow in the springtime
There is no reason why
I imagine you beside me
Please don't leave my side
Let the bright sun by
I like to put this saying
Into different ways
So to tell that I love you
Should be this way

Shh... Be Still

Look out of your window
soon you will see
grass that you'll mow
turn into a sea

You have to be still
and quiet to see
on your own will
or there'll be no sea

Your Light of a Dream

Stick with your dreams
They'll always come true
Someday those beams
of light will come through

No matter how dark
your day will be
you'll be able to embark
so much light like a sea

Think

Just think of the world
in a better place
where there is no human race
and everyone is happy.

Spring!

I look out the window
it's spring and raining
I see lightning and say oh!
Sometimes I am running
out in that rain
it doesn't bother me
there is no pain
as you can see
that's just me

Friendship

Deep, Deep Thought

Everything around me is gone
I'm just in my space
I don't hear anything that's going on
It's like I'm not on earth not even in space

I just sit down and think
I just zone out everything
But suddenly I blink
And that everything is something

A Tall Tale

My favorite Tall Tale is..... I don't know what it's called but I have memorized it by heart. It's my favorite tall tale. It's so good I think you will like it yourself and make yourself memorize it. So here it is;

• One bright day in the middle of the night
• Two blind men got up to fight
• Back to back they faced eachother
• Took out swords and shot eachother
• Two deaf policemen heard the noise
• They came by and arrested the boys
• If you think this tale is tall
• Ask the blind man who saw it all

The Beginning Of My Poetry

I am Jessica Schuck, I love writing and poetry as I do lots of other things. I have been interested in poetry and writing since I guess 5th grade; I am not really sure but all I know is that I am really good at it! Anyway mostly the only time I write poems is if I am just in the right mood to make them; it's like pouring my feelings onto a piece of paper. It's so simple to me.
